DonationScout Giveaway – Official Terms & Conditions

1. Sponsor

The DonationScout Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by DonationScout (“Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to tax-exempt organizations located within the United States that successfully complete a qualifying fundraiser event at a participating DonationScout-certified restaurant during the applicable Giveaway Period.

To be eligible:

  • The fundraiser event must be hosted through a DonationScout-powered fundraising platform.
  • The fundraiser event must generate at least $250 in eligible net sales as determined by the participating restaurant partner and DonationScout reporting records.
  • The fundraiser event must be completed within thirty (30) days following the end of the applicable Giveaway Period.
  • The selected restaurant must be an active DonationScout-certified restaurant partner.
  • The benefiting organization must be legally eligible to receive charitable fundraising proceeds and, if requested by the restaurant partner, must be able to provide valid tax-exempt documentation.
  • Employees of Sponsor and participating restaurant partners, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to win.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

3. Giveaway Period

Each monthly giveaway begins at 12:00 AM Central Time on the first calendar day of the month and ends at 11:59 PM Central Time on the final calendar day of that month.

Only qualifying fundraiser events completed within thirty (30) days following the applicable Giveaway Period will be eligible for entry.

4. How to Enter

Eligible participants will automatically receive one (1) entry upon successful completion of a qualifying fundraiser event during the applicable Giveaway Period.

To qualify:

  • The fundraiser event must be hosted through a participating DonationScout-certified restaurant.
  • The fundraiser event must occur during the applicable Giveaway Period.
  • The fundraiser event must be marked as completed by the participating restaurant partner.

Marketing communication consent is not required to enter or win.

Additional promotional entries or bonus opportunities may periodically be offered by Sponsor where permitted by law.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive the monthly giveaway prize as advertised during the applicable Giveaway Period. Prize details, value, and fulfillment terms may vary by month.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash unless otherwise stated by Sponsor.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor within approximately thirty (30) business days following the close of the eligibility window.

Winners may be contacted via email, phone, or other contact information associated with their fundraiser submission.

If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is determined to be ineligible, or fails to respond within seven (7) days, Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate winner.

7. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners grant Sponsor and participating restaurant partners permission to use the winner’s organization name, fundraiser photos, event details, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Incomplete, late, lost, misdirected, or failed entries
  • Technical malfunctions or platform interruptions
  • Unauthorized human intervention or fraud
  • Any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in the Giveaway or use of any prize
  • Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion.

9. Privacy

Information collected in connection with the Giveaway is subject to Sponsor’s privacy practices and may be used for fundraiser administration, winner notification, and, where consent is provided, marketing communications.

10. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any participant who violates these Terms & Conditions or attempts to tamper with the Giveaway process.

Participation in the Giveaway constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these Official Terms & Conditions and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway.
